Mongolia's off-road motorbike tours are a very attractive experience for adventurous riders, racing across endless steppe, sand dunes and mountain regions. Many tours are guided, with accommodation, meals, motorbike rental and a support vehicle included.
🏍️ Tour Overview and Features
A vast field: Mongolia has many unpaved roads (almost all off-road), and you can ride freely through untouched nature.
Varied courses: There are various schedules and routes, from short day trips to multi-day long tours heading for the Gobi Desert and the ancient city of Karakorum.
Accommodation: Staying in the traditional "ger" used by local nomads is the norm, so you can experience Mongolian culture at the same time.
Support system: On many tours an English- or Japanese-speaking guide accompanies you and a support car (4WD) for carrying luggage runs alongside, so you can enjoy touring with peace of mind.
Rental motorbikes: Many plans include rental of off-road bikes such as KTM or Yamaha (e.g. Serow 250, Kayo-250).
🗓️ Best Season
The best season for off-road motorbike tours in Mongolia is the summer, June to August.
Advantages of summer: the average temperature is a relatively comfortable around 20 degrees and the days are long, which suits touring.
Price: The price varies greatly depending on the tour length (number of days), the services included and the type of motorbike used.
⚠️ Points to Note
Riding skill: Because you ride for long periods on unpaved and rough roads, some off-road riding experience and skill are required.
Cold weather gear: Even in summer, mornings and evenings can be chilly, so prepare warm clothing.
Insurance: We strongly recommend taking out overseas travel insurance in case of accident or injury.
By choosing a reliable tour company, you can safely enjoy Mongolia's great nature.
Our company is best known as a pioneer of tours by self-driven jeep and motorbike, and for introducing "the life of the nomads" and standard tours for various groups and families to overseas tourists.
