All day: horse riding experience.

After breakfast, receive instruction from a nomad (instructor) together with the horse that will travel with you across the steppe. Then set out with the nomads for a horse trekking experience from the camp. On the way, visit a nomad family.

Ulaanbaatar city sightseeing.

After breakfast, visit Chinggis Khaan Square, Gandan Monastery and the Ethnography Museum by private car. After lunch at a Mongolian restaurant, climb Zaisan Hill and the Bogd Khan Palace Museum and look over the whole of Ulaanbaatar from the hill. In the evening, shop at a handicraft store and return to the Undurdov camp.

Highlights and Information

 This is the best course for feeling the grandeur of the Mongolian steppe! Enjoy the beauty of the grasslands and the fresh scent of the grass that you can experience only in Mongolia. The unobstructed blue of the sky, called Mongolian blue. The whiteness of the nomads' gers scattered over the vast grassland. Staying in a ger, close to magnificent nature, in time that flows slowly, you will awaken senses that usually sleep and feel refreshed.

The Steppe Nomads Tourist Camp lies under a wide sky, with grassland as far as the eye can see and no other buildings. It is 40 minutes by car from Chinggis Khaan Airport and 5 km from the New Ulaanbaatar International Airport. The tourist camp is located 42 km south of Ulaanbaatar (Central Province) in a beautiful natural place where body and mind are refreshed. The camp can accommodate up to 120 guests. It is fully equipped with facilities and supplies for a comfortable stay. There is a modern restaurant and a hall that can host meetings, weddings, seminars, dances and other events, with Western-style separate toilets for men and women and hot and cold showers. Authentic Mongolian dishes cooked by professional chefs, high-quality European dishes, and chilled Mongolian-brand beer and juice are also served. The guest gers are provided with slippers, clean linen and towels, and hot-water showers, flush toilets and a well-kept kitchen make your stay comfortable.

The joy of staying at the tourist camp is above all horse riding. Undurdov has hills and plains, a picturesque place that is exactly the Mongolian scenery you imagine, and you can ride there. Small encounters, such as visiting a nomad's ger and being offered tea, are another pleasure. Enjoy horse riding, visits to nomad homes and walks across the endless grassland.
